The dramatic events of September 11 2001 in New York shocked the unaware average citizen.Many theories were told  and even more were done the years that followed. The way we perceived various cultural subgroups thoroughly changed , discovering simultaneously with great surprise the enormous criminal και disasterous capabilities which some  hide.

 

All these capabilities are so well hidden, as international misresponse showed that it is impossible to locate the reasons that cause them. Many things are unseen and if the war on terrorism is not placed in its realistic and effective frame, I am afraid that it is not long from when a global counteraction starts so we need to find a way out soon. 

 

Me too, wishing to propose a possible way out of the anxiety emitted by the new globalized environment and give some interpretations on the explosive contradictions; I decided to write this novel, the first one of the series “The Terror”. I try to recompose, from both cultural and conflict view, the biggest and largest carcinoid the world has ever known: Terrorism.

 

I hope that through this series, while starting with the analysis of present terrorism usual (common) targets, the most important decision and power centers, people will find most answers in the complex turbulent multicultural, multireligional, eternally conflicting multinational environment in the Balkans. The society has a lot to learn, as for example how small antisocial groups in the region evolve to terrorist ones, as well how phenomenically western type societies and groups hide well their evil plans for them comes being legitimate ally until the “appropriate time” for their struggle comes, and reveal their aims.

 

One of the meanings of the Series is that if the world doesn’t quickly realizes what hides behind the phenomenally harmless social caprices and particularities then unfortunately difficult times may come. We must uncover their criminal plans the sooner the possible.

 

Balkans, Middle East, Europe, USA, Russia, Ukraine, Caucasus, Cyprus, Israel, Saudi Arabia are some of the regions of the world in which one  of the series novels takes place, while Christians, Muslims, Jews, Wahhabis, nulist, atheitsts etc.ά. characterize the religious beliefs of their societies in which some of the events take place. Americans, British, Greeks, Arabs, Serbs, Russians each with their particularities form the actors cast.

 

Balkan forclor may hide very dangerous surprises for the usually anware and hardly working west citizens if not quickly perceived.
